At RB, achieving our vision and purpose starts with our people. We want our people to thrive and be able to be at their best at work and at home.
We aim to give all our colleagues the freedom to succeed, while living our five core values of entrepreneurship, achievement, responsibility, partnership and ownership.
Our values create an inclusive environment where we can all act with integrity, responsibility and with consistency. They let us know what is expected of us, while giving us the autonomy to express ourselves.
We want to make a difference every day. Our values help us to realise our vision and purpose and are key to our distinct culture.
Throughout RB, it is easy to see passion, drive, discipline and an acute sense of ownership, along with agility and courage to disrupt the status quo. Our Culture Pulse survey showed that 86% of our people are proud to work for RB, a level that is among the best in the industry.
However, corporate culture can never be static; it must evolve. We are evolving our culture to deliver on our objective of growth and sustainable outperformance. We want to understand the changing needs and expectations of our people.
We are continuously investing in our people and our technology to ensure that we continue to improve, as individuals and as a company. We have an experience-based approach to development, moving our people into new roles and geographies, and provide site level, regional, area and global capability enhancement programmes on functional competencies and leadership skills.
Our trademark is to attract great people, give them a career packed with global challenges and experiences, inspire them with stretching performance-based rewards, and nurture an achievement-focused culture where winning is critical.
You can read more about the culture at RB and our approach to employee development and engagement in the ‘Our People’ Insight.
The key principles for encouraging diversity are challenging bias and promoting
inclusive leadership. These principles are part of our global leadership
development programmes and are core to our talent acquisition strategy.

Giving new parents the freedom to succeed
Our global parental leave policy offers equal rights for all kinds of families and puts us in the top-tier of FMCG employers. Our paid maternity is 26 weeks for mums and primary caregivers* (more if baby arrives early), and leave for dads and partners from is 4 weeks. In total women can take 52 weeks, and men a total of 8.
We also provide wellness rooms for breastfeeding mums returning to work. It’s about making sure parents have the precious time and space they need to rest and bond with baby. And it’s all part of our ethos that gives RB people the freedom to succeed.
We are committed to equality of opportunity and to create an environment where everyone can realise their potential. We are targeting improving our gender balance and have programmes in place to attract and develop talented women, as well as to support areas such as work-life balance and international mobility.
