A key part of this is improving the energy efficiency, lowering carbon emissions and helping to decrease energy costs alongside our environmental footprint.
In addition to energy efficiency initiatives, we are also increasing our use of renewable energy and are committed to sourcing 100% renewable electricity by 2030.
Similarly, through the design of our products and the influence we have on our stakeholders, we work to maximise the benefit and minimise the climate change impact of our products. By designing our products in ways that reduce the amount of energy required to make, use and dispose of them, we can decrease the associated emissions.
As a global consumer goods company, transport and distribution is an essential component of our business. We work closely with our transport contractors to improve efficiency and reduce emissions.
