Our approach to Sustainability

Our betterbusiness strategy responds to key global shifts and we're focussing on where we can make the biggest difference including: the need for better health and hygiene behaviour and the growing scarcity of water. We focus on reducing our environmental impacts across the value chain and maximising our positive impacts on health and hygiene behaviour through education and innovation.

RB joins Global 100 Index

RB has ranked 7th in the Corporate Knights Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World (Global 100) Index. RB has also ranked highest amongst the 11 UK companies in this year’s index. This is RB’s first time on the Global 100, one of the world's leading sustainability indices for global equity investors. RB performed particularly well against its peers in the household products industry on energy, carbon, water and waste productivity.

CEO Rakesh Kapoor said: “I’m proud of the progress we’ve made since launching our betterbusiness sustainability strategy two years ago. Our ranking in the Global 100 is the result of the drive of our people to outperform on our ambitious environment targets as they do in every aspect of our business.”
