OMMA Awards' success for RB's online initiatives


OMMA Awards logoRB's latest online initiatives have been recognised at the OMMA Awards, which celebrate the year's most innovative and brilliant online advertising creative, campaigns and web sites.

Woolite Washed took home the top prize for Integrated Online Campaign by creating an interactive retail experience based around fashion, style and clothing for women.

Resolve's Tip Exchange won in the House & Home category. The innovative website encouraged users to swap tips and advice for stain removal. To date, over 80,000 people have posted their tips, and a Twitter hashtag (#ResolveMyStain) was a huge success.

Durex Fundawear campaign wins at Cannes Lions Awards


Durex Fundawear campaignA light-hearted campaign for Durex in Australia which made headlines around the world has won a Silver Award at the prestigious Cannes Lions Festival. The activity centred around 'Fundawear' – a fun innovation which aimed to give long distance lovers the opportunity to feel the touch of their absent partners. Using sensors activated by actions taken on their partner's mobile phone, the custom-made underwear would produce a sensation that, for the recipient, felt just like being touched! The promotional video had over seven million views on YouTube and Facebook fans for Durex grew by over 4,000% after the campaign became a global viral hit.

Corporate Awards

RB wins OTC Company of the Year


OTC Marketing Awards 2015RB has been named Company of the Year in the OTC Marketing Awards 2015. Organised by OTC Bulletin magazine, the award recognise the best of the British OTC industry, focusing exclusively on suppliers of OTC products – non-prescription medicines, food supplements and selected unlicensed healthcare products – in both pharmacy and grocery.

The judges commented on RB's "strong brand awareness", naming the company "an excellent partner" and praising the "tremendous range of products".

And that's not all… RB came top in another category when Lemsip finished first in the Best OTC Performer Outside Pharmacy lineup, with Nurofen taking second place.

Environment Awards

Newsweek ranks RB one of world's Top 10 green companies"


Newsweek Green Rankings 2015Newsweek has ranked the world’s largest companies on corporate sustainability and environmental impact, and it was good news for RB. In recognition of RB's reduction of water use by 12% and energy consumption by 13%, RB came in fourth on the list of World's Top 10 Green Companies with a Newsweek Green Score of 84.1%.
