What we do

Supply Chain covers the entire journey, from raw material to finished products with the customer. In this industry things happen fast, and at Reckitt Benckiser they happen faster than most.

That’s why a quick thinking, fast acting, highly advanced global supply chain is so valued by the business. We don’t just contribute to overall business strategy by supporting our categories and regions as we grow our net revenues. We also drive gross margin expansion and the improvement of cash management. As if that wasn’t enough, we ensure that service, quality and innovation standards never drop.

How we do it

Our supply operation is truly global, but despite this it’s a close-knit network of supply leaders. Frequent interaction worldwide and innumerable projects with global and cross-regional reach ensure we never stop as a business. Our key internal clients are manufacturing plants, for the components and services; marketing, for a supplier base to contribute to our innovation process; and R&D and packaging development for technical support.

We work with complexity, balancing the different structure and organizational models of developed and emerging markets. We work with local strategies and global brands to maximise margins and drive down costs. This drive to reduce costs is built in, with successful programmes such as Squeeze and X-trim constantly looking at ways to drive out any unnecessary costs from the chain.

Challenges we face

The biggest challenge is always getting the right products to the right places at the right cost. But there are many other complex challenges on the long route from the raw materials to the supermarket shelf - and ultimately, our customers’ homes. One of these is putting in place the strategic plans that allow us to optimise all cost factors while anticipating trends that will impact our operation tomorrow and beyond. That’s especially important for our streamlined approach to processes and manufacturing, and because we handle a fast-changing global product portfolio.

What you’ll need

We’re a global team of creative specialists with a strong understanding of our commercial operation and a correspondingly high degree of business skill. We expect no less of those joining us. If you enjoy working at a fast pace and continually challenging yourself at the commercial coal-face of a world class organisation, consider us.

You’ll need to be adaptable, have a passion and ambition for self-improvement. In general, you’ll need some level of engineering degree, ideally coupled with an additional financial or business qualification.
