We’re the business responsible for developing products such as Nurofen, Gaviscon, Lemsip and Strepsils into market-leading brands. We’re constantly outperforming our sector and our continuing growth has led to a major relocation.

Our locations in the UK

The UK is home to our global HQ in Slough, near London. And our UK and Northern European business is managed from four key UK sites. Our dedicated Household and Healthcare commercial teams for the UK are now located at our headquarters in Slough. In Hull you will also find one of our biggest R&D centres globally, as well as one of our two major global health care manufacturing plants, employing over 1000 people. Another major manufacturing site in Nottingham employs 650 people. Finally, our specialised aerosol and high volume liquid plant for our Household business in Derby employs around 200.

Our graduate programmes

We look for graduates to join two-year programmes in sales & marketing, R&D or supply. We expect graduates to learn about the business in depth, so no graduates are taken directly by our global HQ. We also take on new graduates direct to functions, outside of the formal graduate schemes. Formal programmes begin on the first of September and we accept applications from September of the previous year.

To apply for a graduate programme in the UK you’ll need the following:

240/300 UCAS points (or international equivalent).
2:1 degree minimum (or international equivalent).
For roles in sales & marketing most degree subjects are acceptable.
For R&D you’ll need to have studied a scientific discipline.
For supply chain management you should have an engineering or operations/business management bias.
Any additional languages will always be an advantage.
