A clear leader in an exciting and developed market

Our locations in this region

Our central commercial office is located in the centre of Seoul, and is home to around 100 people. We also have a factory in Jeollabuk-do Province that produces around 70% of our products and employs around 90 people. R&D is undertaken by our centre in Incheon, while five sales offices co-ordinate around 60 sales representatives around the country.

What do we do?

We primarily compete in four major categories in Korea: Fabric Care, Surface Care, Home Care and Personal Care. We’ve established a very successful business with market leadership in most categories and a host of recent successful Powerbrand launches like Dettol, Veet and Easy-off Bang in recent years. These new Powerbrands have continued to grow in terms of both sales and market share and paved the way for more new launches in the future to drive growth. Some of our biggest Powerbrands include Air Wick, Dettol, Bang, Finish and Veet, while our major local brands are Oxyclean, Powerclean and Hipp. You will find careers in sales, marketing, supply, finance, HR, IS and R&D functions available here. In particular we look for talented marketing and supply professionals.

What can you expect?

The Korean market is extremely dynamic and competitive, with both multi-nationals and a number of strong local players fighting for share. Innovation moves at a very fast pace here, and the retail environment has been consolidating rapidly. To keep us on top we’re continuing to create ever more opportunities for proactive and passionate people to develop a fast track career. Programmes such as 'Pay for Performance' and 'Young Talent Development' are tangible ways in which we’re achieving this. Outside of work Korea has a fascinating culture - Seoul in particular is an exciting blend of the modern and the traditional.

Our graduate and internship programmes

We’ve been running a graduate programme since 2006 and we hire a small number of talented graduates for commercial and supply functions every year. If you’re interested in sales and marketing roles you will need an MBA. For supply positions you should be a university graduate with a major in engineering. We mainly recruit from targeted MBA schools and universities from April onwards, although we also accept some direct applications. Expect to begin the programme from July 1st. Our Summer Internship programme began in 2008. Aimed at MBA students in their penultimate year, an internship gives you the chance to put into practice some of the theory you have learnt in school. There are two programmes each year - summer and winter. If you’re interested you should apply in April for the summer programme and September for the winter programme.
