The best way to get up-to-date news and topical issues in your area of study is to read relevant industrial publications.

Definitions and explanations are easy to obtain from textbooks and academic journals, however this can become dated. Examples and recent changes in policy or advancements in technology are a way to bring your work into the real business world and show extra understanding and insight.
