Our locations in this region

Our businesses in Italy and Greece are closely aligned. Milan and Mira, near Venice, both provide stunning backdrops for our two Italian sites. An energetic and dedicated 450-strong team powers manufacturing, warehousing and R&D from Mira, while an equally ambitious team of around 250 people drive our commercial operations from Milan. Our office in Greece is based in Athens, and from here we also manage RB businesses in Cyprus, Fyrom and Albania. In Greece our manufacturing facility in Chalkis employs another 80 people and produces several household brands, notably our strong local hero brand Quanto.

What do we do?

Our operations in Italy and in Greece cover the full span of our work: everything from sales, marketing and supply chain to IS, HR, finance and R&D. In fact, our R&D facility in Mira, Italy operates as the global Fabric Care Excellence centre. The key Powerbrands for the Italian market include Finish, Air Wick, Cillit Bang, Vanish, Woolite, Veet and Calgon, while Ava, Sole and Napisan are among popular local brands. Health care brands include Benagol, Nuroflex and others. Recently, we’ve launched Cillit Bang Versione Candeggina, Vanish Intelligence, Finish Max-in-1 and Air Wick Sinfonia in Italy. In Greece we market all Powerbrands plus few local heroes, with a total of 15 active brands usually at No.1 or No.2 in the market. While our household and personal care brands are well established our OTC business is still at an early stage and offers plenty of growth opportunities.

What can you expect?

In both these markets our brands are really beginning to assert themselves. Recently Air Wick gained the No.1 spot in Italy, and there is plenty of potential for more successes like this. We are particularly keen to drive success in the Fabric Care and Surface Care categories. After work you can lose yourself in Milan, internationally renowned as the city of fashion and design. Meanwhile, the rest of Italy is bursting with culture, fine food and great wine. Reckitt Benckiser is also growing very fast in Greece, driven by a dynamic and high-achieving team. Over the past three years we’ve delivered great results, and today have a large group of brands in market-leading positions. In your spare time, you’ll have the chance to taste the magic and charm of Greek ancient history and culture, while Athens is a large city, full of life and activity.
