RB delivers performance in everything it does, including social responsibility. It is deeply committed to sharing some of the wealth it creates with the people who need it most and helps to improve children's health, hygiene and social development around the world.
Save the Children is the natural choice as RB's global charity partner as it reflects RB's passions as a business. Not just because their programmes focus on health and hygiene. The family is central to both Save the Children and RB's consumers. And as one of their largest corporate supporters worldwide, RB is as committed as ever to supporting their tireless work.
Do Something Big!
RB is driven by continuous innovation, whether it's business or social responsibility. ‘Save 150,000 Lives’ had real impact, but RB wanted to help even more children around the world, so in 2009 it launched Do Something Big. RB Germany is looking for graduates to Do Something Big!
Graduates are being given the chance to develop an idea to support the work of Save The Children in Angola in a new initiative by RB in Germany that will test problem solving and analytical skills and persuasiveness.
Participants will be asked to research problems suffered by children in Angola and come up with a big idea that would increase public awareness, collect more funds and, of course, help the children. They'll then have to present their idea to a panel in Berlin and argue their case.
The winning team will be invited to participate in a unique field trip to Angola to experience the work of Save The Children funded by Reckitt Benckiser.

‘Save 150,000 Lives’ campaign
A child dies every 3 seconds from a preventable disease such as malaria, measles or pneumonia. Yet it costs just £10 to save a life. To help Save the Children save 150,000 lives in Angola and Tanzania, RB set out to raise £1.5 million in 3 years. In 2008, RB not only met its ambitious target, but exceeded it.
