Established by Save The Children in 2006, the Children's Emergency Fund (CEF) is dedicated to providing rapid relief to children wherever and whenever disaster strikes. RB has committed to donating £100,000 a year to the CEF since 2007.
RB donates vital products to children affected by the floods in South East Asia
Millions of people have been affected by floods in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand and the Philippines and RB has responded by donating vital products:
RB Pakistan donated 80,000 Dettol soap products
RB India donated 24,000 Dettol soap and liquid
RB Bangladesh donated 10,000 Dettol soap and liquid products, 2,500 Mortein coils and 5,000 Harpic
RB Philippines donated 297 Lysol All Purpose Cleaners
RB Thailand donated 119,000 Dettol soap, 31,000 hand sanitizers and 5,800 mosquito coil.
Save the Children will use these donated products as part of their emergency response programme to support vulnerable children and families in the region.
