As RB makes and markets health care brands there is an obligation for each of RB employees to note any “adverse events” that they come across that may involve one of RB's health care products and report it to RB's drug safety officers.
An "adverse event" is any change in health or a “side-effect” that may occur in a person who uses one of RB's health care products. An “adverse event” also includes reports of any product misuse, including inappropriate use of a health care product by children or women who are pregnant or lactating. It may also include reports that a product was ineffective.
If you as an RB employee, become aware of an adverse event involving one of RB's health care products, please make note of it and advise the local RB Drug Safety Officer without delay. Drug safety officers exist for every country in which RB sell their health care products.
It does not matter how or where you, as an RB employee, become aware of an adverse event involving one of RB's products, you still have a duty to report that incident. Whether you hear about an event at work or at home, even in your free time, you are required to make note of the event and report it to the Company.
Fast action is important. Any adverse event report should reach the local drug safety officer within 24 hours.
