Could you see yourself pitching your business skills against others from across the United Kingdom to see who can raise the most money for Haiti?


That's exactly what entrants to the RB-sponsored Business Heroes Challenge did, with the additional aim of bagging the top prize of an internship with Save The Children for Summer 2010.

The competition closed on Monday 15 March, but we'll be checking in on the progress of the entries and bringing you regular updates.

What it could do for you


The benefits for those who entered the Business Heroes Challenge:

  • Opportunity to pitch your business skills against others across the United Kingdom to see who can raise the most for Haiti

  • Opportunity to work with an experienced mentor to develop your idea
  • Top prize of an internship for summer 2010 with Save the Children if your business raises the most money. If one of the top 40 fundraisers, you'll be invited to a lunch at Barclays' Canary Wharf offices in London
  •  Skills and experience to build your CV and to help you stand out from the crowd at job interviews
  •  Your ideas and achievements will be visible to companies across the UK who are looking out for great talent.
  • You will tangibly help Haitian children who have been tragically affected by the earthquake.
